We are looking to hire another star to our growing sales team. We are seeking an individual with drive and motivation, and who takes initiative and has a positive attitude. The person needs to have an existing network with key stakeholders within relevant Nordic midsized institutions (tier 2), as well as previous experience working with asset management products. It is an advantage to have experience working with alternative investments and to have existing relationships with institutions in Finland, Denmark and Norway in addition to Sweden.

Please note that Carneo is based in Stockholm and the role will require a fair amount of travelling.

Primary responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors
  • Initiate and follow up on new business opportunities
  • Lead business meetings and close sales
  • Assist in the development of new products, solutions and tools
  • Assist in the development of relevant sales materials
  • Be an active participant in planning and executing sales and marketing events

Work experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional working experience within institutional sales
  • Demonstrated ability to form relationships with institutional clients

We are looking to hire a part-time analyst/sales support to our group distributions team, and we are seeking a highly motivated, service minded and engaged person that is willing to get some useful work experience alongside their studies. Preferably, the person is interested in working within Asset Management post-graduation, as we believe this could be the start of a long-term relationship.

We believe you are a second- or third year University student, probably within Business & Economics, Finance, Industrial Economics or similar. 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop and update sales material
  • Support the existing group sales organization
  • Plan and execute sales/marketing events
  • Participate in sales meetings
  • Participate in and develop internal sales processes

Required skills:

  • Strong computer skills 
  • Superb attention-to-detail
  • Experience within sales and/or customer service

Carneo is currently recruiting a Compliance officer. In the role, the right candidate is offered a unique opportunity to work in an eventful and dynamic environment where responsibility and independence is highly important. The role includes to independently and objectively verify that the business is conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. In addition, the person is responsible for quality assurance and follow-up. This position is a unique opportunity to build the compliance function in the Nordic region’s largest independent asset management group. 

We are seeking an individual who is business driven and thrive in an expansive environment. The person will be given a large amount of responsibility with a lot of external contacts with management and relevant authorities. As a person, the compliance officer is a good relationship creator with high integrity and appreciate good collegial cooperation between the various business functions. The person also understands the importance of the function’s independence and can prioritize the right tasks. To be successful in the role, you need to be able to work independently with an interest in the financial industry and external monitoring. You have excellent written and speaking skills in Swedish and English. 

Primary responsibilities: 

  • Responsibility for compliance and implementation of new regulations
  • Support the business on compliance related issues
  • Continuously monitor external requirements and the market

Required skills: 

  • 3-5 years of experience from fund companies or similar financial activities
